Mr. F. G. Opie (son of Mr. N. Opie, the well-known mining authority, formerly of Moonta, and latterly of Prospect) left for London by the H.M.S. Medina last evening. Mr. Opie, who has had considerable experience at engineering,will begin munitions work under engagement in the famous establishment of Vickers, Ltd.
