George Denver, 68, who lived in Arthur-street, North Sydney, fell from a window at the Randwick Military Hospital early this morning, and was
killed. Two months ago Denver returned from England, where he had been making munitions, and had been undergoing treatment at the hospital ever since.
At 1 o'clock this morning he was assisted to the bathroom by an orderly, who left him for a few moments. Later he was seen falling out of the window. which is 50ft. from the ground. He fell on a stone landing at the top of some stops leading to an entrance.
Medical assistance was sent for, but Denver was so badly injured that he died almost instantly.
